    Alois Friedlein founds the company Reku-Plast.

    As a small forwarder, Alois Friedlein gets to know many companies. Among other things, he also supplies plastic granulate to various plastics processors. Inspired by the possibilities of plastic injection molding, he acquires his first injection molding machine and produces in a barn for his first customer König & Meyer.

    New building of 3000 m² production and administration area.

    The new building in the “Alte Heerstraße” in “Reicholzheim” lays the foundation for the future production of plastic injection tools and plastic parts for various industries. The company name changes to Reku-Plast Alois Friedlein KG.

    The company name is changed to "reku plast Reicholzheimer Kunststoff-Erzeugnisse GmbH".

    In the period from 1982 to 2005 the company develops to a staff of 32 employees. As customers Würth, Brose, Alfi, Lutz-Pumpen, BRAUN, Poulten & Graf, Rowenta, Gesipa, Rauch, TFA Dostmann and numerous other companies can be won.

    Noticeable effect of internationalization.

    The migration of “simple articles” to the Asian region begins. At the same time, the requirements regarding the certification according to DIN ISO 9001 increase. rekuplast goes through a critical phase in 2005-2008. Alois Friedlein saves the situation by using his private capital and giving up his position as managing director.

    Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001

    Now the organizational requirements of the customers can be fulfilled. This lays the foundation for successfully facing internationalization and German competition.

    Company transfer to the second generation.

    Handover of the company after 39 years from Mr. Friedlein to his daughters Margrit Garrecht and Erna Haag. Dipl. Ing. (FH) Alexander Schraag is appointed as managing director. An advisory board is installed and the company is renamed to rekuplast GmbH. The current company logo is used.

    Honorable discharge of high achievers.

    After 37 years, many of them as production manager, Karl Garrecht retires. As the husband of later partner Margrit Garrecht, he made a significant contribution to the success of the company together with Karl Haag, the husband of later partner Erna Haag.

    Certification according to ISO/TS 16949

    This certification lays the foundation for the following growth. The ISO/TS 16949 opens the access to the automotive industry. With the team around Mr. Rolf Wißmann it succeeds to realize technical demanding tools and large series.

    Company transfer to the third generation.

    Within 12 months, the new building at “Zum Schlag” in “Reicholzheim” is completed and occupied. With now 5000 m² area for production and administration the potential for further growth is created.
